Week 43: Huntington Beach (Aka Raymond)

So...I was supposed to go to Huntington Beach last Tuesday but I was so sick on Transfer day that our President told us not to transfer. Hermana Garcia didn't have any symptoms so she transferred to her new area, but Hermana Votaw and I have been here in Raymond for a week! We've been really fatigued so mostly just sleeping this past week with a few phone lessons, zoom planning sessions, and some great personal study! It's actually been a blessing to be able to reset and rest. As a mission, we have started a study of the New Testament together. We are looking for the gospel of Jesus Christ (faith, repentance, baptism, gift of the Holy Ghost, and endure to the end) as well as how we can become lasting disciples. Serving a mission, I have gained a great appreciation and respect for the 12 disciples.
