Week 41: Raymond

Wow I can't believe its already been another week!! Please pray for our friend Cornelio. He was baptized a few weeks ago but now the Adversary is coming at him and he's going through some tough times.

We did have an amazing mission conference! It is always so fun to he reunited with our friends. Hermana Jackson gave her departing testimony and made me cry. She was my STL my first 4 transfers. Literally my adopted mission mom. I am going to miss her so much!!

Miracles this week:
-We had an amazing lesson with our friend Paula. She is this sweet old lady who has had such a hard life. Just this past week, her granddaughter's husband was killed in Mexico. It's hurts to see all the burdens our friends carry. But we talked about the atonement of Jesus Christ & it was so powerful!! Paula kept on saying how important it was to be baptized so we can go back and live with Christ!! She gets it!! She has to work 2 more Sundays and then she is so excited to start coming to church again and be baptized!!
-Three exchanges! Spent time with Hermana Echeverria in Santa Ana and Hermana Ayala & Hermana Keyes in my area. I love my Hermanas. I learn so much from them.
-We visited Noemi yesterday with Hermano Pineda. He was able to give Noemi's baby Chloe a blessing because Chloe is going to have a surgery on her ojitos this week and she was promised that everything was going to be ok <3
-We have been visiting our friend Iriana who was baptized in May a lot recently to read the Book of Mormon. She has the sweetest soul. Her teenage son has special needs and doesn't like to come to church so it is very difficult for her to leave him. But she came on Sunday and shared her testimony!!

In mission conference, we talked about boldness & confidence in extending baptismal invitations. Preach My Gospel (the guidebook to missionary service), says "Boldness shows your faith that obedience to the Lord’s commandments brings blessings."

We were reminded of Revelations 12, which describes the war in heaven before we came to earth. We defeated the Adversary with our bold, confident, powerful testimonies of Jesus Christ.

Verse 11 says: "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

I am confident that Jesus Christ lives. I believe with all my heart that His way is the Only Way. I will never, ever leave His side.

I invite each of you to be bold and confident in your testimony of Jesus Christ in a world that needs it more and more.

Love you all!!
