Week 64: La Rosa

I don't have a lot of time but here are the biggest updates from this week: 

HEYDI AND CARLOS:

We had such a spiritual lesson with Heydi and Carlos. Heydi told us she had been struggling and started to cry. We told them that as they continue coming unto Christ, the Adversary will attack them but there are so many blessings in store for them if they continue on this path. We then watched the BOM videos/read 3 Nefi 11 and the Spirit was SO STRONG and they RECOGNIZED IT!! They got their questions about baptism and they believe the BOM is true!!! The Spirit prompted us to invite them to be baptized and THEY ACCEPTED THE INVITATION TO BE BAPTIZED (but we didn't set a date yet).

But the Adversary kept working on them and a few days later, because of some challenges, Heydi moved to Compton. We are really sad to see her go. We feel such a strong connection with her. But we know it's the Spirit who converts and we she will continue being taught there while we teach Carlos here. Please pray for them. 

ANSWER TO PRAYERS

On Saturday, I was on exchanges in the YSA area with Sister Taimana. After a day of hard work filled with rejection, our last stop was a member, Sierra. When we got into the apartment complex, it took us 30 minutes to find her home. We didn't give up, and when we finally found it, she invited us in and told us she had felt so lonely, prayed, and then we knocked on the door. God answered her prayer through us!! God is a God of miracles. I love him.
